LA JOLLA, Calif. The Cal State San Marcos Track & Field team has another member heading to the NAIA National Championships after a successful day at the California Collegiate Invitational at UC San Diego on Saturday. The meet was a team scored event, with the men finishing in fourth with 109 points and a small contingent of the women's squad tying for sixth with 30 points. Justin Washington became the ninth student-athlete to qualify for nationals, finishing in second in the 800m with an "A" standard time and PR of 1:52.49. For more, visit CSUSMCougars.com.
