SAN DIEGO Raelyn Werley of the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team has been named a March 2016 Star of the Month by the San Diego Hall of Champions (SDHOC).Werley, a junior from Riverside, ran a personal-best of 35:53.99 in the 10,000m at the Occidental Distance Carnival on March 11. It is currently the fastest time in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) by nearly two minutes and is also a NCAA Division II Provisional qualifying time.In addition, she took fourth place in the 3000m of the Aztec Invite on Mar. 19 with a personal-best time of 10:04.80. Werley is getting the job done in the classroom as well.
