SAN MARCOS, Calif. The 2018 Cal State San Marcos men's track & field schedule has been released by 19th-year head coach Steve Scott. CSUSM opens the outdoor season with its own meet, the Mangrum Invitational, on Saturday, Feb. 24. UC San Diego, Point Loma and Cal State Dominguez Hills are just a few of the schools that have committed to participating in the meet. "Since there are qualifying standards to get to conference, our entire season is geared around getting our student-athletes qualified," Scott said. "There are also qualifying standards to get to Nationals and to get that, the student-athlete needs to be ranked in the top 20 in the nation. "That is what we are peaking for."
